As a non-sailor, when you think of sailboats, you immediately think of pristeen aquamarine water, blue skies with puffy white clouds, and swaying palm trees. THIS is not what comes to mind:
In the meantime we spend copius hours watching the
antics of the seagulls as they skitter along on the ice...
and pray for Spring.

Sabrina - yes we made the cover. It's actually our summer sunshades because we didn't have the money to buy all the stuff to make a winter cover right now since we're having to deal with the drive train. We happened on a whole lot of free aviation covering material that's perfect for that sort of thing so all we had to do was buy the trim. We bought a new Sailrite machine at the Annapolis boat show a couple years ago and I've been using it to subsidize my unemployment, doing small canvas and sail repair jobs around the marina.
